Yes. Working with researchers through PCG Engineering, we use metering/measuring equipment to verify savings. We continue to investigate new metering and modeling energy products for use in buildings, such as optimization of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems or continuous commissioning, for example. Through PCG Engineering we also specialize in modeling and analysis of data collected, including calibrated simulation and measurement and verification of photovoltaic solar installations. After project completion, we carefully monitor, measure, and verify the resultant savings for the client.
Yes. Most of our commercial, state and federal projects require permits for work areas. We track all required permits and as part of our project management activities, PCG project managers monitor and ensure compliance with permit requirements. In the arena of environmental permits (air, water discharge, EIS), we rely exclusively on the PCG Engineers.
Yes. The success of each project is dependent on the coordination of multiple contractors to include mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, controls, and environmental contractors. PCG Energy has expertise in coordinating the entire scope of a project from all trades to include subcontractors and suppliers.
Yes. Although PCG Energy does not manufacture energy products, as part of our purchasing process, we require UL or FM certification for all products used in our energy projects. In addition, PCG Engineers have advised energy manufacturers on how to file the appropriate paperwork and obtain UL certification for their new products.
