Helping the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
feed those in need
With needs for food at record highs and donations down the regional food bank had to find ways to tighten their belts without compromising the needs of hungry Oklahomans. Since lighting is the most cost effective in reducing energy costs, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma hired PCG Worldwide to upgrade the lighting in their warehouse. The lighting upgrade help the food bank reduce utility costs by almost $1,700 a month. Those savings translate to nearly 12,000 more meals each month for those in need.
Project Scope
In just 17 days PCG updated the food bank’s lighting with T5s, T8s, high efficiency occupancy sensors and fiber optic lighting.
Results
- The new lighting addresses issues of work morale, productivity and safety
