Our Shades of Green Put Your Business in the Black

PCG Worldwide is ramping up our sustainability commitments with expanded service offerings of wind, water and solar power solutions to support mandatory controls on greenhouse gas emissions while continuing our 12 year mission of promoting energy efficiency though lighting upgrades nationwide.

Our clients increasingly recognize that we all face a carbon-constrained future. This Thursday, June 10, over 1,200 mayors begin arriving in Oklahoma City for the annual Mayor’s Conference. Chief among topics are how mayors have committed their cities to emissions-reduction targets.

One workshop called “Lighting the Way to a More Energy Efficient City Using EECBG Funds” will highlight how mayors can help meet their climate protection goals, save money and improve the livability of their cities by increasing citizens’ sense of comfort, security, and safety. Panelists will include mayors who are using EECBG funds to invest in cost-effective energy strategies that dramatically reduce energy use, curb greenhouse gas emissions, protect the environment, and promote greater energy independence and security. Specifically, participating mayors will share best practices on how new lighting solutions are advancing energy efficiency and climate goals, while at the same time reducing maintenance and operating costs, stimulating more social and economic activity and making their streets and citizens safer.

The reality of higher energy costs, shortages of natural resources and pressure from environmentally oriented stakeholders makes an expanded focus on conservation and efficiency is our continued mission. From high-efficiency LED lighting to green buildings, opportunities to link information-age technology to environmental challenges abound.

PCG Worldwide stands ready to work with current and new clients to assess their energy needs, inform them about their rebate options, and install energy conservation measures.
