Gables Residential: Highland Park Lighting Upgrade

A fourth facility managed by Gables Residential has chosen to move forward with an energy efficient upgrade as designed by the team at PCG.  The most recent property is located in the Highland Park district of Dallas, TX.

Gables Highland Park Residences and Brownstones is a community of 112 units located in the prestigious Town of Highland Park. They offer luxury townhomes with private two car garages at Residences in a midrise with underground garage parking.  The garage and all common areas will contain energy efficient lighting which will meet or exceed their current lighting levels.

CFL, CCFL, LED, T8 and T5  technologies are used as approprate throughout the facility to ensure consistent atmosphere, ambiance, safety and energy efficiency together as a complete sustainability package designed and implemented by PCG.

PCG will speak at the national Feeding America conference

Feeding America holds several conferences for their various facilities around the nation in order to discuss and review operational aspects of their units.  The upcoming Chicago based meeting on August 23-25 will include expostion booths and various educational tracks including energy efficiency.  PCG has been asked to speak with regard to lighting and controls energy conservation measures as they relates to facility costs and operations. 

PCG CEO ,Rita Murray and President, Ron Murray, will lead the training and discussion on how each and every unit can be more efficient and sustainable using today’s energy efficient technologies.  Kent Driver, CLEP will be the certified lighting expert from PCG on hand to discuss specifics during the panel discussion and Q & A section of this training.

The Oklahoma Regional Food Bank upgraded by PCG will be one of the highlighted case studies during this session with facility operations personnal on hand to interact with other for the Feeding America group.

Rebates Validated in California for Cinemark

Rebates validated in Palo Alto, CA; Redding, CA; Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas and Electric for Cinemark lighting project.  38 theatres spanning across central and southern California are scheduled for lighting upgrade using CFL, CCFL, LED and T8 techonlogies.  PCG has been an energy partner with Cinemark since 2002 beginning with a similar statewide upgrade in Texas.  Cinemark continues to be focused on energy conservation measures nationally using these measures as well as control systems and HVAC upgrades.    As a leader in the theatre industry,  their energy manager raises the bar for sustainability and make a significant contribution to the reduction of their carbon footprint annually.

Small Commercial Rebate Process Completed for First Alert

As a certified project sponsor, PCG completed all of the appropriate procedures to secure rebate for the lighting upgrade at First Alert in El Paso, TX.   The upgrade included use of CFL and T8 technologies to offer First Alert the best financial energy solution possible.  Only a small area of their warehouse required re-grid in order to supply balanced lighting throughout.

OGE completes pre-inspection for lighting rebates in Mini-Ha-Ha Bingo, Oklahoma City, OK

PCG is a certified sponsor for the rebate program administered through OGE and is using this program to offset the costs of the lighting upgrade for the Mini-Ha-Ha Bingo in Oklahoma City, OK. 

The upgrade uses electronic T8 ballasts and long life T8 lamps to highlight the players area while all bingo boards will be upgraded using an amazing .43W LED replacement for their existing incandescent lamps.

Boyd Gaming begins upgrading garages in Las Vegas with PCG

Boyd Gaming chooses PCG to implement lighting upgrade in garage located in the California Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV.  The mock installation and comparison with other solution left PCG standing with the best savings and lighting solution for this garage application.  Project was implemented in the time frame specified by KEMA SureBet program in order for Boyd Gaming to realize an additional 25% increase in the rebate for this energy upgrade.  The T8 solution for this garage has been a success as attested by management and patrons alike.
